Investors who purchase during the construction stage tend to secure the best apartments and usually with a pre negotiated discount price directly from the developer.
We conduct full due diligence on all our project developers and our legal and financial team ensure the properties are fully checked, planning permission and funding is already in place and most importantly our developer partners have a proven track record of delivery. Most of our developments only require deposits of 20%-30% which are usually covered by warranty and sometimes insurance protection.
There is also a solicitor escrow account specifically to hold deposited funds. This gives an additional level of protection to the investor, as funds can only be drawn down in arrears of work completed. Payments also need to be certified by the Chartered Quantity Surveyors managing the construction payments.
